LINKEDIN NEWS

HYBRID CONFERENCE
NEW YORK, NY

THE BRIEF

LinkedIn News engaged us to define its presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos and establish a clear strategy for how the brand could meaningfully participate in one of the world’s most influential gatherings of business and global leaders. The mandate extended beyond simply showing up: we needed to determine where LinkedIn News could add value, how it should engage, and how its editorial programming could reinforce its position as a destination for timely, relevant thought leadership.

What We
Set Out To Do

01

Define a distinct and credible role for LinkedIn News at Davos

02

Develop an editorial strategy that translated the conversations happening in Davos for LinkedIn’s professional audience

03

Create a cohesive approach across strategy, programming, production, and execution

04

Deliver a professionally produced event without requiring Alchemy to build an internal events team

THE CHALLENGE

Davos is an exceptionally crowded environment where the world’s leading media, business, and technology brands compete for attention

LinkedIn News needed a presence that felt differentiated and authentic to its unique position at the intersection of professionals, industries, and ideas

Programming had to respond to fast-moving conversations while maintaining a clear editorial point of view

Guest bookings and production needed to happen within the complex schedules and demands of Davos

Our Strategy & Execution

We built LinkedIn News’ Davos strategy from the ground up, defining where to show up, how to engage, and why it mattered.

Our work combined strategic positioning with hands-on editorial and production leadership. We provided editorial guidance across LinkedIn News’ Davos programming, identifying the conversations and perspectives most relevant to its audience and helping translate them into compelling content.

We also led bookings for shows recorded on the ground, bringing the right voices into the conversation and ensuring programming reflected both the immediacy of Davos and LinkedIn News’ broader thought-leadership ambitions. From strategy through implementation, we created a cohesive framework that enabled LinkedIn News to participate with purpose rather than simply add to the noise.
